Brittany
It's on the north coast. We spent one day here visiting Mont St. Michel, a "fairy tale"
castle that was the locale for the closing scene of The Scarlet Pimpernel.

Fishing and oystering are big here and we enjoyed some scenic views.
Mont St Michel was built as a Benedictine monastery on a
small island off the coast of Brittany in the tenth century.
Before a causeway was built, you had to wait for low tide to
walk to it.
Spectacular views off the coast of Brittany
We stayed one night at St Malo with an ocean view.
This is at low tide.
