The 20 meter wire/tip spacer assembly is shown here in the shape of the final hexagon only for illustrative
purposes to make it easier to see where the terminal strips are placed. After you have adjusted the tip
spacers, adjust the locations of the terminal strips as shown.

On the other bands, you will have only the tip spacers to adjust as there will be no other terminal strips
needed.

Wire, Tip Spacers and Terminals
20 Meters Only
  1. Slip 6 terminal strips on the
    reflector wire and one on each
    driver wire; leave them loose for
    now.
  2. Attach the wires to the Tip
    Spacers.
  3. Set the space between wire tips to
    24 inches.
  4. Slide the loose terminal strips to
    128 inches as shown and tighten.
  5. As a check the total length from
    lug to lug should be 7 X 128 = 896
    inches.
  6. You are now ready to install the 20
    meter wire/tip apacer assembly
    on the frame.
