Measure out 12 nylon cords with little "S" hooks on the end. The cords should be 130 inches
long, including the hooks. Later, six Kevlar/Dacron cords will be used as the permanent
support for the hex beam. These are strong and resistant to ultraviolet radiation.

You can make the little S hooks for the temporary cords as shown below using a piece of 14
ga. house wiring. You could also buy little steel S hooks from Home Depot for a couple
bucks.
