Install a perimeter cord between the two front spreaders to hold them from pulling out of position. Adjust this
cord for 128 inches. Then install four radial cords from the center post to spreaders 2,3,4 and 5 and adjust
each of them for 128 inches. Measure to the connector blocks, not the end of the spreaders.
One of the radial cords to spreader 2 is shown here. All the permanent cords have connector blocks on
them to make them easy to adjust.
Notice that the hex beam is a set of six equilateral triangles of 128 inches each. If you get all these
dimensions right, you are going to have a well balanced, symmetrical hex beam. When you tighten all the
set screws on all the connector blocks, it is going to stay that way. Then putting the other bands' wires on is
a piece of cake.
