The center post will fit snugly through this floor flange. These things are normally used for
hand rails and many companies sell them. Just do a google search for images using the
term, "base floor flange" or some such words and you will get a lot of vendors. Check eBay; I
found some on auction there.
The large hole on some of these flanges is not drilled all the way through as this one is so
be careful what you order.
The sizing convention is a bit oblique to a layman. For example, my center post is 1 1/4 inch
in diameter and the size flange that was required for a nice snug fit is denominated "1 inch."
Go figure. But in any event, if you order this item be careful about getting the right size. The
vendor should provide a guide for this somewhere on the site.
